The fabric
Pointelle, not just ribbed.
Pointelle is a knit with tiny openings worked into it, which is exactly what you want in a baby blanket. It traps a layer of warm air without sealing it in, so it works in a warm nursery as well as a cool one.
The same 95% organic cotton and 5% spandex as the rest of the range, so it drapes and recovers instead of stretching out of shape along the edges.

The pointelle structure lets air move through, which matters over a sleeping baby far more than sheer thickness does.
Soft rolled edge
Finished with a rolled hem rather than a stiff bound edge, so it drapes over a pram hood and tucks around a car seat.
Softens with washing
Organic cotton this fine gets better with every wash. It is the piece that ends up in the cot long after the clothes are outgrown.
